Mycar partners with Digicall Assist for roadside assistance
mycar Tyre & Auto, rebranded from Kmart Tyre & Auto Service in 2019, has selected to partner with Digicall Assist for roadside assistance services for its customers.
Under the multi-year deal, Digicall Assist provides mycar essential plus or logbook service customers Australia-wide assistance with flat tyres, flat batteries, lockouts, emergency fuel, towing and roadside repairs.
Other features that provide peace of mind for customers and help get them back on the road quicker include roadside geo-location, which enables assistance to be dispatched to the right place without delay, and live-tracking, which allows motorists to see how far away their technician is.
Adele Coswello, Chief Customer Officer at mycar, said mycar selected Digicall Assist because of the strong alignment when it comes to customer experience. “At mycar we understand that when technology delivers increased personalisation and transparency, it builds trust with our customers. Digicall Assist’s innate understanding of the customer experience and their innovations assist with delivering a great customer experience which is really impressive.”
Michael Curtin, Digicall Assist CEO, added, “We’re seeing rapid increases in customer expectations when it comes to their digital experience with a brand. Providing mycar customers the ability to have the best of both worlds, where digital meets real human assistance, is where the magic happens.”
Adele noted that Digicall Assist offered a point of difference when it comes to market speed. “We are on a journey of building the mycar brand and there’s a real desire for us to innovate and bring this to the market quickly. Digicall Assist’s streamlined processes means they can respond swiftly as we continue to build the mycar brand and deliver a seamless customer experience. The fact they could deploy the service in just five weeks from signing the contract is testament to their agility.”
Another factor behind the decision was the fact that Digicall Assist has no conflicting retail presence in the market and is working proactively to support mycar’s network of over 270 stores.
The mycar agreement chalks up another win for Digicall Assist, following recent announcements with Youi and Woolworths Insurance.
