Australia’s first roadside assistance provider awards program
In an Australian-first, Digicall Assist is introducing an awards program to recognise the most outstanding roadside assistance providers across the country. Kicking off this year, the annual Provider Excellence Awards will celebrate the best provider organisations and individuals for their exemplary work in keeping Australians moving.
As the provider network is an integral part of Digicall Assist’s business, we want to recognise those who demonstrate the highest levels of commitment, customer service, digital case management, and safety compliance, as well as highlight some of the incredible work they do.
The provider network’s work is critical in enabling Digicall Assist to deliver on its mission to provide the very best customer experience.
Roadside assistance providers – such as mechanics and towing services – are on the frontline of roadside assistance, dealing with broken-down motorists face to face. They are often the final step in getting cars safely back on the road again. They have solid motor vehicle expertise, along with excellent customer service, adaptability and safety.
While diagnosing, repairing and mobilising vehicles can often be straightforward, at other times it can be complicated. Busy traffic conditions, stressed motorists, and bad weather can all add up to a difficult operation. Providers must be able to stay calm, confident and compliant under pressure at the roadside. At a time of unprecedented change and uncertainty, our provider network has continued to step up and help Australians when they are vulnerable at the roadside.
This includes supporting Australia’s frontline workers such as nurses and hospital staff, as part of Digicall Assist’s free national roadside assistance program for first responders, in partnership with Suncorp Group.
The Provider Excellence Awards will be based on the state each provider operates in, with the smaller states and territories grouped together. Awards will be based on performance across the 2020 calendar year. Finalists will be announced in early 2021, and the winners will be announced on the national stage in March 2021.
A total of 35 awards will be given, based on the following seven categories across five state groups.
